Upcoming Events

Our chapter mainly covers the area around Houston, San Antonio, and southern coast of Texas.  We first started out with 3 folks around 1996 and over the last almost 30 years have grown to over 85 plus local members. I am grateful that some of our original folks have started their own chapters in Austin and D/FW and have grown their groups into very active clubs with lots of new folks. We have no local dues and actually have never elected officers since the beginning. There are also events that we coordinate with the local Alfa Club.

We are lucky to have several members that have vast knowledge of the Vintage Fiats and as a group we are always willing to help anyone in need of spare parts, mechanical, electrical advice, etc. We do have the occasional Tech session and try to have at least one monthly meet up when the weather permits.

Our main organized drive each year is our Spring Thing which usually takes place in the Hill Country of Texas where there are many, many fine scenic roads that we can enjoy. This is usually a 3-day weekend, so we get to enjoy 2 full days on the road with some scenic stops on the way or other interesting destinations. I always try to include a group dinner as well.  Some years we are also able to do a Fall drive, and the last 2 years we have organized a Xmas Toy Drive to a local Fire Dept. that has been well attended.

In addition, we have had a smaller group that have trailered or transported their cars to destinations such as the Blue Ridge Pkwy, National Parks in Utah, and also Mount Rushmore in South Dakota.
