22nd Annual Italian CarFest

September 12, 2026
Nash Farm, Grapevine, TX

The Italian CarFest (ICF) serves as the kickoff event for the City of Grapevine's (a Dallas suburb) GrapeFest every year.  Located at the historical Nash Farm in the center of Grapevine, ICF is the largest Italian car show in north Texas and 1 of the 2 largest Italian car shows in Texas, overall. The ICF is organized by the Italian Car Club of North Texas and hosted by the City of Grapevine.
This year, ICF could be summed up in 1 word:  HOT!  HOT because Dallas has recorded its third longest number of days in a row over 100F.  The showfield topped out at 103F during the show.  HOT because the ICF is THE place to be in Grapevine when the show occurs. And, of course, HOT because of all the beautiful Italian metal on the field.

Nash Farm is a working historic farm that is open to the public most of the year and conducts many tours for area schools.  The car show is placed on one of Nash Farms non-working fields.  The field is surrounded by many trees, an amenity much appreciated by car owner and spectator alike.  A permanent pavilion with indoor bathrooms provides another great location for those seeking to escape the heat and/or sit down to enjoy lunch from the Italian cuisine food truck on hand for the show.  Italian beverages are also available at the pavilion's concession stand.  Music is provided by DJ.

The car owners themselves vote on the winners in most categories, including Best in Show.  Specialty awards exist for the Mayor's Choice and People's Choice.  The mayor of Grapevine selects the Mayor's Choice winner and the spectators vote on the People's Choice winner.  Additionally, the Alfa Romeo Owner's Club chapter in Dallas awards a financial gift to the Alfa owner who attended the show from the farthest distance away.

For the DFW Chapter - FIAT Club America, Italian CarFest serves as our September meet-up. It also provides a great chance to recruit more members.  We set up a booth, complete with business cards, banners and a feather flag, old copies of the club magazine, pins, stickers, free bottled water, free Italian wedding cookies, and more.   Every year, our outreach at ICF results in 3-6 new members in our chapter!
